Updated April 27, 2026 · Safari-friendly workflow · Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and RSS supported
If you want to download podcasts on iPhone, the simplest method is to use Safari and a browser-based podcast downloader. That gives you actual audio files that can be saved in the Files app, shared, moved, or archived, instead of staying locked inside a podcast app.
1. Copy the podcast link
Use an Apple Podcasts show URL, Spotify show URL, or a
direct RSS feed URL.
2. Open Safari and go to the downloader
Visit podcastdownloadrss.cn
in Safari on your iPhone.
3. Paste the link and load the episode list
Tap the input box, paste the link, and
load the public feed.
4. Download the episode and save it
Choose the episode, download the file, and save
it to Files or the iPhone Downloads folder.
Usually the best option on iPhone because the workflow already starts inside the Apple ecosystem and the feed lookup is reliable.
The most direct option when you already know the feed. This often loads faster than platform pages.
Good for public podcasts, but Spotify-exclusive shows may not expose a public feed and therefore may fail.
They can work, but show links are usually more reliable because they expose the full feed context.
On iPhone, downloaded files usually go to the Safari Downloads folder in the Files app unless you have changed your default download location. After the file downloads, open Files to rename, move, or share it.
Open the downloader in Safari, paste your podcast link, and save the file directly to your iPhone.
